In 2009, Angello kept dancefloors percolating across the world with cuts like his mammoth re-imagining of the Robin S classic 'Show Me Love', produced in collaboration with Laidback Luke, and in his eyes, dance music is finally back on the mainstream agenda - both critically and commercially. Now living in Los Angeles, he hears music on daytime radio that he'd never have come across before. "We're gonna be No.1," he boasts, laughing. "It's super-exciting. We've done our jobs!" This year will be rounded off by a triumphant, sold out Swedish House Mafia show at London's renowned Brixton Academy in November.
